The WCFC Catalyst Academy is for the U9 & U10 player. What sets WCFC Catalyst Academy apart is its curriculum, practice environment and focus on individual players as opposed to teams. Fully staffed by licensed and tenured coaches. Our Catalyst program is rooted in ball mastery and repetition from easy to complex ball control methods. Players graduating from the Catalyst program learn the value of keeping the ball, tactically how to manage space and shape. WCFC strives to develop soccer players who are also leaders by encouraging creativity, respect, and responsibility on and off the field.

The purpose of the WCFC Catalyst program is to provide soccer players, who have aspirations of becoming a more accomplished player, an avenue to test and enhance their skills.

Teams are formed following player evaluations that will be done at the end of each season by the coaches. Open house events give the new WCFC player a chance to be evaluated by the club and its coaches. All attempts will be made to form teams made up of players equal in ability and skill level. Realignment of players may occur at the end of each season to keep players equal in ability and skill development together. There are no tryouts.

The WCFC Catalyst Academy is a fully accredited academy program by the Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association (WYSA). More information on accreditation and WYSA can be found on their website, here. Participants in the program receive year round professional training by the club’s strongest coaches. Players compete in: in-house academy games, festival events (organized friendly matches), and tournaments all over the state.

Our Catalyst Academy teams play three seasons; Fall, Spring and a Winter futsal program. The Winter futsal program includes both team practices, open play futsal and individual training opportunities.  The Fall and Spring programs consist of 2- 3 practice sessions per week and a game per weekend most weeks.
