WCFC will conduct tryouts on an annual basis with the intention of creating the most competitive teams possible at age appropriate groupings, while giving any player an equal opportunity to compete for spots on those teams. The tryout process aims to determine player abilities through a series of observed activities, ultimately identifying the best players for the team. WCFC will attempt to find, but not guarantee, roster spots for all interested players.
All players U11 and older interested in being selected for a team with WCFC must participate in at least one of the tryout dates for their age appropriate team. Players are encouraged to attend all set tryout dates. Any player not attending a tryout can not be offered a spot for any team within the club.
It is highly recommended that all players register online prior to tryouts. A $30 tryout fee must be paid at tryouts. Walk-up registration is available to those unable to register ahead of time; tryout fees must be paid at the time of walk-up registration. Tryout fees are not refundable.
What to expect
Players will participate in skill assessment activities and small sided game play. Groups are mixed to assess ability against different players.
WYSA Tryout Policy dictates that the earliest a club official can offer a player a position on a team is 6:00 p.m. on the Friday of tryout week. Players will be notified by email and have 24 hours to accept or decline the offer to play.
Once a player is offered a position and has accepted the spot, he/she must register with WCFC. The registration page will be active once registration is open. The club registration fees are listed below. Coaches or managers will contact players with team information related to the upcoming season.

Washington County FC is a 501C non-profit corporation and as a result we are able to offer nationally licensed Select coaches at an affordable price to our members. Please see our season pricing structure below:
