Washington County FC competitive seasons are in the Fall (August-October) and Spring (April-June). Teams train over the Winter months, focusing on skill development.
WCFC currently offers two levels of play; Academy Program and the Select Program. One complete season in either program will provide practices, games, and tournaments for players in both Fall and Spring.
Our Academy program is for boys and girls in the U7 to U10 age group.
Our Select program is available for players in the U11 to U19 age group. The Select program is also broken down into Girls Select and Boys Select.
A brief overview of these programs is listed below.
WCFC Youth Academy
The intention of the WCFC Academy is to provide a more competitive and proper soccer environment to those young athletes that wish to be part of an accelerated soccer program. The Youth Academy is for both boys and girls. Teams are created for U7 through U10 age groups. Academy players are exposed to nationally licensed coaches, current and former college level players, and have opportunities to compete against other players from other areas of the state.
Starting at the U11 level players have the opportunity to tryout for teams that will compete in WYSA leagues as well as travel to tournaments in WI and across the Midwest. All players undergo a tryout session designed to assess their skill level, game ability, and tactical knowledge in order to determine proper placement on one of our select teams.
WCFC is a member of WYSA (Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association) and our select teams play in competitive divisions within the WSYA leagues.
